ISFP Prize 2012
On the occasion of the 21st International Congress on Fibrinolysis and Proteolysis (Brighton, UK, July 1-5, 2012), a Prize of 10,000 USD will be awarded for outstanding contributions to the field of fibrinolysis, thrombolysis and proteolysis.
Previous Price winners were I.M. Nilsson (1974), T. Astrup (1976), D. Collen and B. Wiman (1978), K. Robbins (1980), N. Aoki (1982), P. Wallen (1984), S. Müllertz (1986), F. Bachman (1988), M. Samama (1990), D. Loskutoff (1992), F. Blasi, K. DanØ and D. Vassalli (1994), H.R. Lijnen (1996), P. Carmeliet (1998), H. Pannekoek (2000), D. Ginsburg (2002), S. Strickland (2004), J. Degen (2006), F. Castellino (2008) and D.A. Lawrence (2010).
The Prize winner was selected by vote of an international jury composed of members selected from the Advisory Board and from previous Prize winners and of at least one representative of the Council of the ISFP.
The ISFP Prize winner 2012 is Dr. Thomas Bugge; he will deliver a honorary plenary lecture at the Congress in Brighton.
