Congress Profile
General Information
- The International Congress on Fibrinolysis and Proteolysis (Medical/Scientific)
is held every 2 years in a different location. It is organized under the
auspices of the International Society for Fibrinolysis and Proteolysis (ISFP),
a non-profit organization.
- Applications to host the Congress should be made by active members of
the ISFP. If no acceptable candidates are identified the council may decide
to organize the scientific programme itself and to do the organization locally
with the support of a Convention/Congress Center.
- Decisions on Congress sites are taken by vote of the Council of the ISFP.
Practical Information
- Next open meeting date: 2012.
- The Congress takes 4 to 5 days and is usually held in June-September.
- Requirements: full Congress facilities and accommodation for up to 600
participants and accompanying persons. The meeting requires 2 to 3 parallel
sessions and includes a technical exhibition (300-400 m2) and poster area
(150-200 poster boards).
